The year was 1984, and Michael and Brendan Moylan, two high school soccer players, were in desperate need of a good pair of soccer boots. Frustrated with the local options, and unable to find the right boots from companies that advertised in the back of soccer publications, the brothers approached their parents about helping them to start a mail order soccer business.
The brothers were committed to providing high quality hard to find soccer gear at reasonable prices through a catalog that people would enjoy receiving. They wanted their company to embody their passion for the game and for the people who play, coach and support it.
