chevy cobalt 2007 problem whit chec engine?
i have the code p0496 what shuld i du replace the purge valve?
This problem is caused by the computer seeing evap flow when none is commanded. The gas cap will not cause this concern. Probably an evap purge solenoid sticking open
remove it, it is under the engine cover, 2 wire connector that is red. Hook up a vacumm pump and see if it will hold vacumm. If it won't replace the solenoid.Take care
