AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has played down Steven Gerrard's claims that he is a kitten, insisting: "I'm a pitbull."
The two players will meet again in the Champions League Final on May 23, a repeat of the Istanbul finale when the English side came from 3-0 down to lift the trophy on penalties.
Gerrard, instrumental in the Anfield side's extroardinary comeback, belittled Gattuso in his autobiography by claiming that he had very little fear of 'The Snarl' before the 2005 final.
