When you are looking at football gear it is important to consider the position or team player that you need the equipment for. Of course there are not a lot of positions that are on the team but you do need to make sure that they have the right equipment so that they can do their job properly and play with less chance of getting injured during game time. This means that you should also keep in mind the things that you will need for practice sessions as well since some of the gear is a little different.
If you are looking for practice gear than you are going to want to make sure that you have practice vests. Some people know them better as pinnies and are used to be able to divide the team up so that they can practice against each other to run drills. This is a very useful part of football gear so that the entire team can get a chance to play different positions and be able to learn what the opposing team may do during actual game time. You can get these in different sizes and colors as well.
Of course another thing that you are going to want to take a look at are goalie fences. If you are running practice drills and games than you are going to want these so that the team members will be able to focus on where the ball is supposed to go. And do not forget the most important part of the football gear is the ball. Without this vital piece of equipment there will not even be a game to begin with. Although they are pretty standard, you can get them in different colors and designs if you so choose to.
You then have to decide upon the shirts that you are going to have and the style that seems to be suite your team. There are different ones that you can pick from such as the v-neck and the crop neck. Keep in mind that you can also chose from different colors as well. When looking at your football gear you are also going to want to look at clothes for the referee as well as socks and cleats. Don't forget your whistles for the ref to be able to call the game for penalties and scores.
All of this is going to be a part of your vital list for football gear. Again you will need to purchase the right things for each player on your team so that they are well equipped to be able to play the game the way it is meant to. You will also want to look into padded pants for the goalie as well as shin guards. You may also want to consider getting team bags or perhaps backpacks for your players so that they can carry and go no matter where they are playing. Most kids have white shirts. You could have 1/2 your players wear white shirts and the other ones wear any other color.
You can make "sashes" out of ribbon that can be draped over them instead of pinnies.
Or depending on how much you are looking to spend, I can set you up with a source of excellent, low-cost pinnies (where I get mine from).
